Sat, Sep 20

|

Guelph-Gazebo

Join others in our community to stand united against fossil fuel proliferation, to honour Indigenous sovereignty and human rights, to stop blaming migrants, and to invest in and celebrate people, diversity, and inclusion. Inspire a better world, with some serious messages for our governments.

Time & Location

Sep 20, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Guelph-Gazebo, 139 Gordon St, Guelph, ON, Canada

About The Event

The event begins at Royal City Park from 10 to11am. There will be sign making materials, tabling from local groups and kids activities. At 11 am the formal rally begins, there will be speakers, story telling and musicians. At noon there will be a march/slow roll to City Hall for a brief gathering and back to Royal City Park.

We hope for a festive atmosphere to inspire a better world, with some serious messages for our governments.

We connect with Draw the Line Canada  which has five main cross-movement demands:

·       Put people over corporate profit. Fund our families and communities.

·       Refuse ongoing colonialism. Uphold Indigenous Sovereignty.

·       Stop blaming migrants. Demand full immigration status for all now!
